A Collaboration of Norway House and Mindekirken
Velkommen til Matfestivalen: the Norwegian Food Festival
Norway House and our neighbors at Mindekirken partner up for a celebration of a modern Norwegian food culture that embraces:
Classic and enduring traditions
Innovative culinary fusions
Sustainably-sourced ingredients
Intimate connection to nature
We explore a wide range of Norwegian food culture, while we proudly embrace Norway’s most notorious delicacy of lutefisk to start and end our festival.
The festival kicks off with an upscale dining experience like no other, Lutefiskfestivalen, on November 8th and 9th, a continuing partnership with Lutefiskfestivalen of Norway.
The closing event on November 23rd is Mindekirken’s iconic annual Lutefisk Dinner, the best traditional Norwegian-American style lutefisk event in town.
In between, a variety of classes and events offer something for everyone.
