Welcome to this enchanting drawing course, where art meets mythology in a creative escape from the everyday. In this series, we'll explore the mythical water beings across various cultures – from the Nordic Havfrue and Havmand to the Celtic Selkie and Indigenous Sedna.

As we dive into their rich stories, we’ll also enhance your artistic abilities, focusing on the formal concepts of art and design, particularly line function and shading. Through these captivating deities and spirits, you’ll not only expand your artistic techniques but also discover the fascinating similarities that bind these spiritual icons across cultures. Let's embark on this creative journey together!

Bring some paper, pencils, and an eraser. Settle in for storytelling and drawing.

On Thursday evenings, the Norway House Kaffee Bar has its happy hour, with BOGO glasses of wine or beer, along with a dinner menu and appetizers. Come early and enjoy dinner! You are welcome to bring your drinks into class.

Please note: Norway House does issue refunds. If for some reason you can’t attend a class for which you registered, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to another person.
