Exploring the Heart of Norway House: A Journey Through Plaques and Legacies

  • Norway House 913 East Franklin Avenue Minneapolis United States (map)

In celebration of the success of the Norway House capital campaign and of the new building, we are hosting four events to highlight the plaques of named spaces in the Albert H. Quie Education Center and the K.A.H.R. Foundation Innovation + Culture Center: the new location of the Family Name and Family Story plaques, the College Cup plaques, and the dedicated gardens and boulders located in the outdoor plaza.

Each plaque within Norway House’s walls tells a story of dedication and love, commemorating individuals and families who have played significant roles in its development and spirit; these plaques honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations to continue the legacy of close bonds between the United States and Norway. Take a stroll with us through the different zones and explore these heartfelt tributes.
