Ut på tur aldri sur! Out for a walk, never grumpy. This common saying captures the heart of Norwegians’ relationship to the outdoors. At Norway House, we’ve made it a goal to get out more often.

We invite you all to join our 3rd annual golf tournament, a fun, casual outing with Norway House friends. What better way to enjoy the outdoors than over a round of golf!

Come join us at scenic Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis, followed as always by a happy hour at Utepils Brewery along Bassett Creek nearby. Inclement weather? We’ll be guided by another Norwegian saying: Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær! There’s no bad weather, only bad clothing!

The tournament will be a “best ball scramble,” and Hole 12 will feature a “Closest to the Pin on Second Shot” contest in memory of our dear friend Jon Pederson.

Golfers are welcome to come a little early to enjoy lunch at the cafe on-site (not included). First tee time is at 1:00pm.
