Amalia, born and raised in Guatemala, is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and the Culinary Institute of America. She is a Danish-by-marriage, culinary enthusiast, and an avid world traveler. Amalia is also an award-winning author and leader with a corporate background, known for her passionate advocacy of cultural understanding and empowerment through traditional cuisine.
Leveraging her expertise, she bridges awareness gaps and fosters deeper connections, offering impactful speaking engagements, insightful consulting, and immersive gourmet experiences. With a strategic approach, Amalia helps businesses cultivate relevance, foster inclusion, and wield influence while authentically celebrating the richness of Latin culture.
