Lefse and Pultost with Heidi Eger

  • Mindekirken 924 East 21st Street Minneapolis, MN, 55404 United States (map)

Join Heidi Eger for a special class event as she shares her grandmother’s lefse recipe and a trove of good advice. She is joined by special Matfestivalen guests from Hamar, Norway to share a traditional regional pairing of lefse with pultost, Norway’s oldest cheese, sometimes called “Viking cheese.”

You will experience fresh lefse paired with pultost, and leave the class with a couple of sheets of lefse and the confidence to make this classic Nordic food in your own kitchen.

A part of Matfestivalen, a collaboration of Norway House and Mindekirken. Lutefiskfestivalen at Norway House is the kickoff event, and Mindekirken’s iconic annual Lutefisk Dinner closes it out. In between, we highlight both traditional and modern Norwegian food culture beyond the infamous lutefisk.
