Who Are These Rather Odd Scandinavians in Our Midst?
Join Norway House and Ramsey County Historical Society at the Kaffebar for an evening of storytelling, humor, and history with Eric Dregni, author of Vikings in the Attic. This fascinating book uncovers the peculiar, heartfelt, and often bizarre tales of Scandinavian immigrants and their deep-rooted traditions in the American Midwest.
From lutefisk dinners to hidden Viking relics, Dregni takes us on a journey through the myths, memories, and unexpected quirks that define Nordic America. Through his research and personal experiences—including his time living in Norway as a Fulbright fellow—he brings to life the stories that generations of Scandinavian-Americans have cherished.
