Mindekirken Tuesday Open House: Cookbooks and Quilts Can Be Family History Too

  • Mindekirken 924 East 21st Street Minneapolis, MN, 55404 United States (map)

Families gather, food is served, and memories are created. Creating a family keepsake cookbook can capture the people, places, and emotions surrounding family gatherings. Quilts are another way to capture family history by transferring photos and documents to fabric or through applique of significant family pictures.

Join our dear friends at Mindekirken for their weekly lunch and lecture program, featuring Mary Rosendahl—food scientist, quilter, and certified autobiography instructor. Mary enjoys marrying her interests in food and quilting with family history to help others create family keepsakes.

We will also be joined by special guests from Spring Grove! Preceding the program with Mary Rosendahl, our Spring Grove friends will offer a brief preview of the Spring Spotlight events at Norway House.
