Like skiing? Thank a Norwegian!

A   long, long time ago, some Norwegians put two boards on their feet, and created the groundwork for a multi-billion dollar, worldwide, winter-blessed phenomenon.  Life-long skier Roger Wangan will give the history of this remarkable gift from Norwegians. Skiing itself, from winter transportation to winter sport, has benefited the world. But there are also the innovations and innovations that grew from the sport.

Roger will give an entertaining overview of Norwegian determination and to their contributions to skiing. If you aren’t a skier already, he can also tell you about “Soft Skiing,” skiing instruction for older adults who really want to take part in this Norwegian tradition.

This talk is free and is Roger’s gift to the Norwegian, skiing, and history-loving community. Reservations are appreciated.
