In this in-person workshop, you’ll explore your life through memories and reflections of food, facilitated by writing instructor Brenda Hudson. Through simple and fun writing prompts, you’ll be encouraged to explore the ways in which food and memory intersect and to use sensory details to create vivid and evocative descriptions of your experiences.
Whether you’re a seasoned foodie who wants to enhance your food writing, are simply curious about cuisine (Nordic or not), or want to kickstart a memoir, this workshop is open to all. No prior writing experience is required; just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore the rich and complex world of food memories.
During the break, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some delicious Nordic treats and refreshments and connect with fellow writers.
Bring a notebook and pen or your computer, and join us for a deliciously inspiring morning of food, writing, and community at Norway House!
