Norwegian Skinnfell Christmas Ornaments with Heidi Eger
Add some handmade beauty to your juletre!
Skinnfell is the Norwegian folk art of sewing printed sheepskins into bed covers, clothes, toys, and decorations. In this class, Heidi Eger will show you how to make skinnfell ornaments using contemporary stamp designs. Everyone will make a red heart and then choose from a dozen additional stamps for their next two ornaments. Even if you don’t complete all three ornaments during class, you will have the skills to take the remaining material home and complete them there.
Please bring a pair of sharp sewing scissors.
Instructor Heidi raises sheep and fell in love with Skinnfell as a way to honor her beautiful flock. She also teaches Lefse, Krumkake, and Fårikål classes at Norway House.

Lefse with Heidi Eger
Learn to make this popular and versatile Norwegian flatbread with Heidi Eger. Heidi shares her grandmother's foolproof recipe, lots of tips, and encouragement so you can leave the class ready to make this Christmas tradition on your own.
This is a hands-on class, so please bring an apron and something so you can tie your hair back, if needed.
This class is appropriate for children age 7 and above with an adult who is also registered for the class.

Make Fårikål, the National Dish of Norway
Come join us at Norway House for a fun-filled event where you'll learn how to make the traditional Norwegian dish, Fårikål! Join Heidi Eger, owner of Radicle Heart Farms where sheep are humanely pasture-raised, as she walks you through the steps of making this classic dish. You will also learn about the different cuts of lamb, how to cook them, and share a meal with your classmates at the end. Frozen lamb will also be available for purchase at the time of class.

Make traditional and specially-flavored krumkake for Christmas.
Popular cooking teacher Heidi Eger will show you how to make traditional and seasonally-flavored krumkake for Christmas treats. You will make krumkake using several different recipes, so bring a tin so you can bring the extras home.
